Patented Seed Tube Ventilation System ™
Transparent seed tubes are like greenhouses, they trap solar energy. Traditional seed tube cover designs block the escape of heated air. The patented Seed Tube Ventilation System in the Squirrel Buster Plus, permits humidity and the warm air to escape through vents at the top of the feeder. The escaping air is replaced by fresh air entering through the seed ports. The seed remains fresher and attracts more birds.

Adjustable Perches
Thick, adjustable-length perches with textured surfaces provide a secure and comfortable grip for birds. Attract small birds like blue tits and finches (while deterring larger birds like starlings) by shortening the perches. Perches can also be extended just enough to attract medium-sized birds. Pigeons, starlings and doves can also be deterred by using variable length perches and the adjustable spring mechanism.

Only bird feeder to solve the problem
My squirrel buster plus is the only bird feeder to solve the problem I had keeping the food for the smaller birds rather than see it gobbled up by larger birds and squirrels. It works perfectly as the small birds only eat from the feeder and the pieces they drop by accident or because they don’t like them fall to the floor to be eaten by pigeons, jackdaws, and squirrels.
All we need now is a way of allowing ground feeding birds such as blackbirds to eat safely without their food being stolen by squirrels and large birds.

Really robust
I have had my Squirrel Buster for about 5 years now and it has been the subject of much interest from the large number of grey squirrels who visit my garden. There is evidence of repeated attempts by them to get to the food, all of which have been unsuccessful. The Squirrel Buster is really robust and has a few scratches but is otherwise completely undamaged - unlike other bird feeders I have used that have been torn apart by squirrels to get to the contents.
Although an relatively expensive to buy it is an investment: my savings on the cost of feed have more than outweighed the purchase cost and I would highly recommend Squirrel Busters - in fact I have just bought an additional one for a friend.
