Feeder Sensitivity
Weight Adjustable for Selective Feeding
The patented adjustable spring mechanism controls how much weight the shroud will support, allowing the birds to feed. Use the feeder at the factory setting - red nut on the indicator line - before making any adjustments.
Note: Spring tension may vary depending on outside temperatures
To Deter Heavier Birds (-)
Rotate the green dial at the top of the feeder anticlockwise. The red nut will move up from the previous setting. This deters heavier birds from accessing the food.
To Allow heavier Birds (+)
Rotate the green dial at the top of the feeder clockwise. The red nut will move down from the previous setting. This allows heavier birds to feed.
